Bayou® Rum is distilled from locally grown sugar cane in southern Louisiana, USA.
Our signature sugar recipe uses a blend of 100% natural, unprocessed Louisiana cane and molasses.
Each batch of Bayou Rum is copper still distilled and bottled by hand.

The key ingredient in rum – sugarcane – had been cultivated in its homeland since the 1700s, but no one had yet exploited this abundant natural resource to create a premium premium rum.
They vowed to change that by creating a Louisiana rum for the world to enjoy.
